Statement of Commitment
McCay Duff LLP is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner and to complying with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR).
We are committed to identifying, removing, and preventing barriers to accessibility and to providing an inclusive environment for employees, clients, and members of the public.
This plan outlines the steps we are taking to meet our obligations and improve accessibility. It will be reviewed and updated at least once every five years and is available in accessible formats upon request.
Training
McCay Duff LLP is committed to providing training on accessibility requirements and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Our initiatives include:
- 2026: All new employees receive training on AODA requirements and the Ontario Human Rights Code as soon as practicable after hiring. Previously trained employees receive updated training where appropriate.
- 2026: Additional role-specific training is provided where required and refreshed where appropriate.
- 2026–2030: Training is updated and delivered when policies or requirements change
- 2027: Training materials are reviewed to ensure alignment with current standards
Customer Service
McCay Duff LLP is committed to providing accessible client service.
Our initiatives include:
- 2026: Clients with disabilities are provided services with the same quality and timeliness as others
- 2026: Assistive devices, support persons, and service animals are accommodated in accordance with AODA requirements
- 2026: Accessible feedback processes are available upon request
- 2026: Notice of temporary service disruptions is provided where applicable
- 2026–2030: Alternative service methods (e.g., virtual meetings) are available to support accessibility needs
Information and Communications
McCay Duff LLP is committed to accessible information and communications.
Our initiatives include:
- 2026: Accessible formats and communication supports are available upon request and provided in consultation with the individual
- 2026: Public feedback processes are accessible
- 2026–2027: Ongoing efforts to ensure our website conforms to WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards
- 2027: Key public documents (e.g., forms, notices) are reviewed and updated for accessibility where practicable
- 2026–2030: New web content and documents are developed with accessibility in mind
Employment

Our initiatives include:
- 2026: Applicants are notified that accommodations are available during recruitment and hiring
- 2026: Successful candidates are informed of accommodation policies upon offer
- 2026: Employees are informed of available accessibility supports and workplace accommodation policies
- 2026: Accessible formats are provided for workplace information upon request
- 2026: Documented individual accommodation plans are developed upon request
- 2026: Return-to-work processes are in place for employees returning from disability-related leave
- 2026–2030: Accessibility needs are considered in performance management, career development, and advancement initiatives
- 2027: Accommodation and return-to-work processes are reviewed and updated as needed
Built Environment
McCay Duff LLP operates in leased office space and is committed to working within our control to support accessibility.
Our initiatives include:
- 2026: Review of office areas under our control (e.g., reception, meeting spaces) for accessibility considerations
- 2026–2030: Collaboration with building management as needed to address accessibility in common areas
- 2027–2030: Accessibility considerations incorporated into office changes or upgrades where practicable
