McCay Duff LLP is thrilled to announce that our Managing Partner, Dianna Larkin, recently completed the inaugural kickoff session of the Allinial Global Elevate Program. Held on-site at Harvard University, this session marks the beginning of a two-year executive leadership journey. Dianna joined an exclusive cohort of managing partners from accounting firms across North America to collaborate on the future of firm management.
Executive Training Under World-Class Faculty
The intensive program began with three days of rigorous instruction led by renowned Harvard Professor Ashish Nanda. Utilizing an interactive, case-study-driven approach, Professor Nanda challenged the executive cohort to reconsider traditional paradigms surrounding:
- Strategy and alignment
- Team motivation and development
- Leading in the age of radical change
- Building high-performance teams
Collaboration and Team Building
Beyond classroom instruction, the program emphasized peer-to-peer collaboration, enabling participants to debate industry assumptions and exchange real-world management solutions. The cohort also engaged in team-building activities outside the traditional boardroom, including a guided historical tour of the Harvard campus and a collaborative culinary evening at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts.
Living Our Core Value: Continuous Improvement
At McCay Duff LLP, Continuous Improvement is a core foundational value. Dianna’s participation in the Elevate Program underscores our firm’s belief that true leadership requires a permanent commitment to personal and professional growth. By stepping outside comfortable routines and remaining open to fresh, research-backed management concepts, our leadership team continues to evolve to serve our community better.
“As leaders, we cannot encourage our teams to grow if we are not willing to invest in our own growth. Learning often requires stepping outside our comfort zones, challenging our thinking, and remaining open to new perspectives.” — Dianna Larkin, CPA, CA, Managing Partner
Looking Forward
Over the next two years, Dianna will continue collaborating with this North American leadership cohort. Her primary objective is to channel these advanced management strategies back into McCay Duff LLP, empowering our internal leadership, strengthening operations, and delivering proactive, high-value advisory insights to our valued clients.
Our sincere thanks go out to our partners at Allinial Global, Professor Ashish Nanda, JoAnn Labbie, Sandy Reeser, and the entire Elevate cohort for launching this transformative experience.
