“Real success comes from helping people see what’s possible and then building practical action plans that turn it into reality.”
Dianna Larkin is the Managing Partner of McCay Duff LLP, where she leads the firm with a clear and deeply held purpose to help people reach their full potential and to support clients in building strong, sustainable businesses that work for their lives.
Since joining the firm in 2010 and becoming a partner in 2013, Dianna has developed a practice rooted in trusted advisory relationships with owner-managed businesses. She works closely with business owners as they navigate growth, change, and transition, providing thoughtful and practical guidance that extends well beyond compliance. Her work includes business advisory, tax planning, cash flow forecasting, financing support, succession planning, leadership development, and due diligence for acquisitions, with a growing specialization in the dental industry.
As Managing Partner, Dianna is focused on shaping a firm where people can grow, contribute meaningfully, and do their best work. She believes that the firm’s ability to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients is directly connected to how well its people are supported, developed, and engaged. Under her leadership, McCay Duff LLP continues to evolve as a firm that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and proactive advisory conversations, helping clients make confident decisions today while planning intentionally for the future.
Dianna’s leadership and advisory approach is deeply influenced by her early exposure to entrepreneurship. Raised by parents who owned their own business, she understands that financial statements represent far more than numbers. They reflect hard work, risk, responsibility, and personal sacrifice. This perspective shapes how she works with clients, helping them make business decisions that align with their goals, values, and the life they want to build.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Dianna moved to Ottawa after earning a Bachelor of Administration from Acadia University and later obtaining her Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
Outside of the office, Dianna is an active hockey mom and enjoys riding her motorcycle, paddleboarding, and real estate investing. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community and has been actively involved in serving local charities through board and volunteer roles.
“Dianna is a consultant, an advisor, and a first class professional. She has helped us grow our business over the past 2 years and we’re grateful to have her on our advisory team.” R. L.
