Christopher Szubzda, CPA, CA, holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University and has been a designated accountant since 2015. As a Partner at McCay Duff LLP, he assists small business owners with their accounting and tax reporting needs, becoming a trusted advisor throughout the process. Christopher is uniquely qualified to support a wide range of organizations, having served clients with various corporate structures, including sole proprietors, family-owned businesses, partnerships, and corporations across multiple industries, as well as charitable and not-for-profit organizations.

Christopher began his career in the Greater Toronto Area, but after a few years, he fell in love with Ottawa and moved there in 2016. He often says Ottawa offers a small-town feeling with big-town opportunities. Since then, he has been a dedicated member of the McCay Duff LLP team. Christopher takes pride in coaching his team and helping staff grow through supervision, recognition, and encouragement to foster a stronger, more committed group.

Outside of work, Christopher enjoys playing board games and TTRPGs, running, and building and painting miniatures. He also loves spending quality time with his dogs and family.
